League Rules
An owner cannot own more than one team in a league.
There will be absolutely no collusion between owners.
All trades that are accepted by both owners will be processed immediately. All players involved in the trade will immediately switch teams.
Each owner is required to keep his/her team in reasonable financial condition.
It is generally bad practice to offer a single player out in multiple trade offers simultaneously to multiple teams.
All owners will respond to trade offers in a reasonable amount of time. "No thanks" is preferable to not responding.
All owners will fill all roster holes and maintain filled lineups.
Respect other people in the BNS forums.
If you are not renewing your subscription, owners are to not destroy the team for the future owner. Do not trade away your best players for pennies on the dollar.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment
BlueNewtSPORTS uses PayPal for all subscription payments. When you sign up for a subscription, BlueNewtSPORTS bills your PayPal account for the full subscription amount.
When your subscription period ends, BlueNewtSPORTS automatically converts your subscription to a month-to-month plan, charged at the current rate on the last day of your subscription. If you wish to cancel your subscription instead of being converted to a month-to-month plan, adjust your subscription setting by visiting the Billing Information page and clicking on the “Subscription Settings” button before the last day of your subscription.
BlueNewtSPORTS offers a free one-month subscription with all new users. If after 30 days the user is still using this website, we will bill PayPal for the subscription choice that was made upon registration. Users are free to cancel within the first 30 days, and we will not charge them for the subscription fees.
Users are eligible to cancel their subscription at any time, and we will not charge your PayPal account after you have canceled your subscription.
A subscription to BlueNewtSPORTS is required to participate in the leagues after the first 30-day free trial period. If you cancel your subscription, you will not be able to participate in the leagues. If you have added add-on leagues, if you cancel your subscription, you will not be able to participate in your add-on leagues.
Refunds
We cannot give refunds for subscription fees. If you are removed from a league for violating our site policies, you will not be given a refund.
Discussion Forum Priviledges
If you violate discussion forum rules, you may remain in your league, but we reserve the right to revoke your forum privileges. You are not entitled to a refund if your forum privileges are revoked.
The following are prohibited in discussion forums:
- Personal attacks, flaming, or threats of any kind
- Swearing or otherwise adult content
- Racial or sexual harassment
- Advertisements
Sports Simulations
We at BlueNewt Sports develop sports simulations for your enjoyment. Our goal is to be able to provide you with an enjoyable experience and be able to provide you a challenge competing against other sports fans. We will update the simulations to add improvements and user suggestions. If you find an issue with the simulation that needs to be corrected, please let us know and we will work to fix it.
Other Members’ Personal Information
During the course of play, you may have access to the e-mail address or other personal information of other members. You are only allowed to use this information to make trades offers and conduct similar league business. In particular, you may not use other members’ information to send spam, chain letters, marketing offers, or harassing messages. Violators are not tolerated and will receive one warning before being expelled from the league.
Limits of Responsibility
Please note that if you reveal your e-mail address to other member or reveal personal information about yourself in our discussion forums, BlueNewtSPORTS is not responsible for any inappropriate use of this information by other members.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions
BlueNewtSPORTS reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. We will notify members by e-mail when any changes are made.
